The Chiverton Gallery

 Brian 'Chiv' Chiverton took these defining shots of staff in the summer of 1962, subsequently, and cynically, cashing in on their celebrity by selling multiple copies around the school.

In addition to his black and white staff shots, Chiv also recorded pupil 'extra-curricular activity' on 35mm coloured slides. These are presented under Out and About.

There are 60 poignant poses in The Staff Room: 56 staff and 6 of Chiv's contemporaries, which we include merely for completeness.(I mean to say: 'Mold', 'Hutch', 'Gil' etc.. - their stars will fade but Pad's name will shine for ever in the firmament.)

We present them all here by kind permission of the copyright holder at absolutely no charge whatsoever.
