From memory I can recite the Boys as shown, because they were called out by surname in alphabetical order.

The girls were in the same order but called out by first name, so I never really caught on - apart from Gwyneth being the first and possibly Vivienne the last.

The list excludes those who were only in the class for the first term and who were then deemed to be unable to cope with Latin and so allowed the luxury of a place in the C Stream. Thus you will not read about OM making Bartley stand on the desk to recite 'Bonus'.
