Growing in groups under oak and hazel, attached to oak leaves - in February in UK!

Caps hygrophanous -dark brown when wet to ivory white when dry. No umbo. Up to 4cm across.

Gills brown almost decurrent. Sometimes with cross connections.

Spores buff or yellow-brown.

Stem hollow flattened , cap colour, white at base.

Tubaria has been suggested.
